The Friends of Wroughton Library are asking for donations of board games and cards for the Library, with the intention of starting a regular monthly games afternoon.

Wroughton Wassail, Saturday 19th January, 6pm at the Moat Pond, moving on at 7:15pm to the Wroughton Bowls ClubCome and wassail Wroughton's apple trees at the heart of the village! Bring your singing voice, a candle lantern, and a saucepan and spoon for making some noise! It will be followed (7.15pm onwards) by entertainment and refreshments in the Bowls Club, with storytelling from Clare Goodall, music from Talis Kimberley, and mulled apple juice and refreshments including Vowley Farm's famous sausage rolls! Free Health Check at Wroughton Library on Thursday 24th January, 10:30am to 3:30pm. For anyone aged 40-74 years and already registered with a GP in Swindon/Wroughton area. You will need to book. More info from library staff on 01793-798112. 

Wroughton Country Market re-opens on Friday 25th January at the Ellendune Hall.

SCS will be holding a public meeting on Saturday 26th January to dicuss plans for a solar farm to be built on the Science Museum site at Wroughton airfield. This is a pre planning consultation. Ellendune Centre Wroughton.
